Hailing from the island of Mors in Denmark, the Morsø Foundry has been operating for over 160 years. When Niels Andreas Christensen (N.A Christensen) started the Morsø Foundry in 1853 to produce all sorts of products from stable windows, grave crosses and tools to saucepans, pots and pans.

However, wood-burning and tiled stoves were not originally part of Morsø’s product offering, this only came about at around the turn of the century and these stoves and heaters were provided to schools, churches, the railways, ministries and the royal household, and in 1915 Morsø received the coveted title of Purveyor to the Royal Court.

In 2012, Morsø launched the first Forno Outdoor Oven made of which expanded the outdoor product offering, which already included gas braais, accessories and utensils. It makes entertaining friends and family a breeze, and offers a unique take on outdoor entertaining.

Morsø launched an entirely new series of kitchen equipment made of black cast iron in 2015 which enhances the experience both in the kitchen and at the table. The addition of vases, figurines, candle holders and utensils to the Living range will bring elegance to any space in your home.
